Perry is a Lead Software Engineer at State Farm working on GitOps support and adoption as the automated software change tool to perform production deployments for on-prem and cloud platforms. He has worn many hats at State Farm, ranging from racking and stacking servers, to writing Java APIs and customer facing UIs, to being a DevOps engineer. Perry’s knowledge has most recently been leveraged for his expertise in EKS, cloud adoption, multi-tenancy on AWS accounts, and GitOps. Perry further encourages and adopts public cloud offerings in State Farm by contributing to inner sourced projects and running an internal guild to show off the latest public cloud technologies and architectures.
